Marion was undoubtedly the best neighbour, mentor, and friend my ten year old self could have asked for. I have always treasured the (many) hours I spent in her kitchen, learning how to bake and listening to her stories, ideas, and thoughts about whatever was going on at the time. She was such a strong female! And she was always doing for others. She showed such kindness to our family. I am certain that her love of food and baking cultivated what are now my passions.
I will be thinking about her family in the months ahead, hoping that the comfort in your memories of her will surpass the grief of losing this amazing woman.
