Lewis was a kind and gentle man who was a good friend and colleague of Bruce's. They enjoyed lively exchanges and would often banter back & forth, all with great respect for each other. Lewis had a cheerful & friendly nature which will be missed by all who knew him. Our sincerest condolences to all the family...Lois, Janet, Leslie & David Scott

What a lovely obituary for Lewis. He was a very nice man. He always had the biggest smile and a kind word for everyone. I remember fondly all of the great conversations we had and the time that I spent in his company many years ago. We spent quite a few evenings together watching his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs on the television. Saturday night was totally reserved for hockey. I particularly enjoyed his Sunday sermons. They were always very meaningful for me. I know that Lewis spent many hours preparing them, and he always related scripture to current events. May he rest in peace. I hope that happy memories of good times with Lewis will comfort family members and friends at this very sad time. I will be thinking of you as you honor Lewis and say "farewell" on January 13th. So sorry for your loss. Rev Snow was a wonderful preacher and a great man. While he served at Charing Cross church he lived in the manse across the road from my parents. When my father died in 2001 Charing Cross church was between ministers and we did not know the covering minister so we asked Lewis to perform the service. He graciously accepted and was able to provide the personal touch that we needed.

As a fellow United Church minister I have met Lewis on several different occasions. The obituary picture reminds me of his smile which was accompanied by a kind & gracious manner. A competent and caring minister who has served the church in a very competent manner. It was a pleasure to be in his presence. My sympathy to his family. You are blessed with great memories of a long and fruitful life. Rev. John Brown
