To Bill’s family, my condolences on his passing. As I read of Bill’s life, I wholly concur that he brought a pleasant and joyful demeanour while attending the cardiac program at Victoria hospital as well. I can speak on behalf of the staff when I say Bill brought an optimism in spite of the trials he may have been going through and always made my day when he came in to the facility. God bless!

I send this in sincere condolences. Loss is difficult, the nicest thing I can say about grief is that it also brings back the wonderful memories of the person you are missing. What sits in your heart is the love you felt for your dad

Kim and family. I was sad when I heard of your fathers passing on Wednesday. Your dad and I shared lots of laughs and sport stories in the pool at the Horton Street Seniors Centre. He liked the London Knights but loved the Patriots and Tom Brady. I will be thinking of you and your family over the next few days. All the best and God bless, Marcus Hahn

My condolences to Bill's family. It was a great pleasure knowing Bill. He was soo kind and always caring about others. He would always show and express gratitude, even the smalliest things he acknowledged and was very appreciative. I will miss serving him breakfast and lunch daily, his smile and sincere compassion for others will never be forgotten. His beloved friends at Kensington Village. Sue Rodrigues ( dietary)

I had the great pleasure and privilege of working with Bill in the 70's & 80's. Bill was a true gentleman in every sense of the word and a first rate Engineer. He is one of the few railroaders I worked with that I do not recall uttering a swear word ever. That in itself is a small miracle.
I had the chance to see Bill again at CP Pensioners meetings, prior to the COVID suspension of those get togethers. More recently, I talked with Bill on the phone, the last call less was than a week ago. He was in good spirits & I told him when COVID is past us, I would drive to London one day, and take him out for lunch. Sadly that wasn't to be.
In an earlier call, Bill said to me "you were one of the good ones" . I said "so were you Bill" . Indeed Bill was one of the good ones.
I offer my sincere condolences to his family on your loss.
