WILLIAM R. GRIEVE 1931-2021 Suddenly at home on Monday, January 25, 2021. William R.(Bill)Grieve of Dorchester in his 90th year. Beloved husband for over 67 years of Yvonne (Mitchell). Dear father of Rick (Deb) and Cathy (John Crane) and grandfather of Kris and Jason (Melissa). Proud great grandpa of Emily, Delilah and Ella. Predeceased by brother Don (2008) and parents John M. (1982) and Margaret (Guest) (2001). Survived by sisters-in-law Karen Grieve, Margaret Getty (Don 2016), June LeClair and several nieces and nephews. Also predeceased by brother-in-law David L. Mitchell (1990) (Joan 2016). As a life long dairy farmer, Bill was a well known Holstein breeder. He was active in many community and farm organizations throughout his life, notably, President Holstein Canada (1984), founding President of the Ontario Holstein Branch (1981), Reeve of the former North Dorchester Township (1975-1977), Middlesex County Warden (1975) and a 60+ year member of the Western Fair Association, among others. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, a private family service will be held at the Bieman Funeral Home, 3970 Hamilton Road, Dorchester with interment at Dorchester Union Cemetery. A celebration of Bill's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. Private Family Service

A private family service will be held at the Bieman Funeral Home, 3970 Hamilton Road, Dorchester with interment at Dorchester Union Cemetery. A celebration of Bill's life will be held at a later date.
