My condolences to the entire family but he specially to Yvonne. I met Bill and Yvonne at Dorchester Terrace last year. I had many discussions with Bill regarding the weather never doing what farmers needed. I hope you remember me a Yvonne, if Newark ask Agnes Gallaghet.

The departure of a loved one always leaves a gap in a family circle.
May it help you to know that there are others who care about the pain in your loss, and the emptiness that his departure introduces. I have many wonderful memories of Bill & Yvonne Grieve; indeed, I carry fond remembrances of his parents, John and Margaret Grieve.
Bill was tall in stature, and tall in the ethics which determined and shaped his relationships with others.
He was a leader. It seems little more than yesterday when, one morning, Bill entered my temporary office at First Westminster United Church, located in the basement opposite the furnace. (He was the Clerk of Session at the time.) "We've got to get you re-located above ground!" he said with a smile and twinkle in his eye. That exchange led to a renovations project that saw partitions rise in the former Sunday School Hall. Located prominently was a wood panelled Minister's Study, near to the door that led outside and to the chancel end of the sanctuary. It served me and the congregation well for the next 5 years.
I extend my personal regard to Yvonne and the family.
(Rev.) Rob Johnstone

I was very sorry to learn of Bill's death. He was a first class gentleman, and I enjoyed my association with him and Yvonne, through politics. Bill made an enormous contribution to his community in so many ways, and he will be missed. He lived a full life of many achievements, and now may he rest in peace.
We will remember Bill, Yvonne and the entire family in our prayers.
Sincere sympathies !
