Obituary of Ronald Earl Somers

It is with profound sorrow that Ron's family announces his sudden passing in his 87th year on Wednesday, April 17, 2019.

Survived by his loving wife Dolly of 62 years; his children Wayne (Norma), Mark (Michelle), Darrell (Suzanne), Robin (Wayne), Kent (Anita) and his sisters Marlene, Lyla and Mary (Rick).

Proud, loving grandpa to 18 grandchildren and their spouses and 10 great grandchildren.

Predeceased by his parents Lyle and Jean Somers and his brother Keith all of Nanticoke and his brothers in law Omar and Frank.

Ron will be loving remembered by his many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Ron was a transport truck driver for 55 years.  After his retirement, he enjoyed travelling in his R.V. and working on the farms of his extended family.

Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date.
