Obituary of Vernon Marshall Frampton

Vernon (Vern) Marshall Frampton, 87, died on July 31, 2024, at Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll. He was born March 25,1937 in London. The son of Lawrence Marshall and Jessie Christine (Taylor) Frampton. Vern went to school in Toronto and was a Metal Lather by trade. He was the owner/operator of Frampton Auto Parts for 32 years. Vern was a great Maple Leaf fan and a passion for Country music, always getting together to sing with his musical buddies. He also loved baking and was famous for his butter tarts. His wife Marilyn Joy (Wigelsworth) Frampton were together for 65 years. Together they looked after their horses, dogs and cats on the farm in Dorchester. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his two grandchildren Terra Rawnsley and Tyler Hall and great grandson-in-law Brad Smith, his sister Margaret Murphy (Bud), brother Charlie Frampton (Helen), sister Marion Hope (Ted), his brothers Larry Frampton (Judy), and Ronald Frampton. Survived by his wife Marilyn Frampton (Wigelsworth); his children Janice and Greg Rawnsley, Trudy and Rick Williams, Wayne and Kathy Frampton and Lisa Frampton and Dan Patterson Fondly remembered by his grandchildren, great grandchildren and a great great grandchild. Vern is survived by brothers Tom Frampton, Robert Frampton (Wanda) and Don Frampton (Gayle) and by sisters Sharon Steinback (Ron) and Linda Adams (Mike). Survived by his sisters-in-Law Eva Sims and Cheryle Locking and brothers-in-Law Orville Sims and Ronald Locking (deceased) Friends will be received at the Bieman Funeral Home, 3970 Hamilton Road, Dorchester (Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.) where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Dorchester Union Cemetery.
