Peacefully at her residence with her family by her side on Saturday, July 27, 2024. Laureen Louise McFarland (nee Case) of Dorchester (formerly of Crumlin) in her 88th year. Wife of the late Douglas Bruce McFarland (1998). Loving mother of Doug McFarland (Mari) of Belmont, Susan Johnstone (Rob McMahon) of London and Stephen McFarland (Brenda) of Crampton. Dear grandmother of Lee-Anne McFarland, Lindsay Johnstone (Brad Jakos), Ryan Johnstone, Kevin McFarland (Tiffany) and Justin McFarland. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Shirley Roberts and Barbara Mitchell. Friends will be received at the Bieman Funeral Home, 3970 Hamilton Road, Dorchester (Thursday, August 1, 2024 - 2 hours prior to funeral service - 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) where the funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Private family interment Dorchester Union Cemetery.
