Lois Marie Johnston (Hudson) passed away peacefully at Oakcrossing Retirement Home, London on Monday, June 10, 2024 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Gerald (Jerry) Johnston. Dearest mom of Howard (Edie) and Stuart (Maryann)and survived by grandchildren Crystal (Martin), Steven, Dereck Ellacott (Keisha) and Lindsey Cox (Jason); sister-in-law of Shirley Bradish, Marion Hudson and Linda Hudson; brother-in-law Jim McLachlin; sister Helen Munro and great grandma of 8 great grandchildren. Fondly remembered by Barb Hope. Special thanks to cousin Myrna Johnston. Predeceased by her mother Marie Hudson (Bennett) and father Howard Hudson; brothers Les and Bob Hudson, sister-in-law Barb McLachlin; brothers-in-law Ron Munro and Ed Bradish. Lois will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Many thanks to all the staff, nurses, doctors administrative staff and food services at Oakcrossing Retirement Home; L.H.S.C. Palliative Dr. Jang, Dr. Wong and Dr. McLean. Many thanks also to Mom's great neighbours. Cremation has taken place. Private interment service to be held at Dorchester Union Cemetery at a later date.
