Obituary of Marilyn Ann Armes

At London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital, London on Sunday, May 19, 2024 Marilyn Ann Armes (nee Esler) of Dorchester in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Joe Armes (2022). Dear sister of Tom Esler (Carroll), Paul (the late Marg), Pat Hansford (Henry)and George (partner Diane). Predeceased by a brother Doug and survived by Connie. Predeceased by her parents Tom and Ena Esler; brothers in law Raymond (the late Dolly), Fred (the late Viv) and sisters in law Anne (the late Ray) and Gladys (the late Harold). Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Marilyn will be sadly missed by Heather Black and Nonnie Rowland. Marilyn was a proud and active member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #513 Ladies' Auxillary for many years as well as a dedicated employee of the Toronto Dominion Bank, Dorchester for over 55 years. Friends will be received at the Bieman Funeral Home, 3970 Hamilton Road, Dorchester (Thursday 6:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.) where the funeral service will be conducted on Friday, May 24, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Dorchester Union Cemetery. A Royal Canadian Legion Service under the direction of Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 513, Dorchester will be held at the funeral home Thursday evening at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #513, 1227 Donnybrook Drive, Dorchester, ON N0L 1G5 would be appreciated.
