Obituary of Betty Anne Brent

At the Dearness Home, London on Saturday, October 28, 2023. Betty Anne (nee Lawton) (Dakins) Brent (formerly of Dorchester) in her 89th year. Wife of the late Gerald Dakins (1958) and the late Robert Brent (2013). Dear mother of Jerry Dakins (wife Marilyn) of Belmont, and Patricia Ryde (husband Peter) of Thamesford. Loving grandmother of Jason Dakins (Carolyn Rees), Darren Dakins (Carleen Green), Hillary Ryde-Collins (husband Jay) and Julia Stoop (husband Matt) and great grandmother of Charlie, Olivia, Ryder, Calvin, James and the late Lillian (2023). Survived by brother-in-law Ralph Dakins. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Margaret Barker (2021). Cremation has taken place with interment of cremated remains at Dorchester Union Cemetery.
