Doug the walker what a great name for him ,that's all this man ever did ,he loved to walk yes he did but more meaning for then this name for him would be Doug my neighbor, our family has lived 2 doors from him and his wife for 38 yrs and couldn't ask for a better neighbor, he's always thr if needed anything and we were to ,he used to eat all our left overs since my father John passed away, as I heard from one of his friends say I love those Hunt boys there picky eaters and I get all there mothers food that they don't like only cuz being spoiled and not forced to try new things but he didn't know that moms are understanding but we were forced to eat food at other family's homes and i think he would understand why now ,moms would never force there kids knowing we didn't like something, Doug ur welcome and I hope u enjoyed it ,man can't believe ur gone, sry to all family mark n Sheri and Adam and Eve he will be truly missed thanks for having ur family as my neighbors rip Doug I know ur watching above with other family members keep us safe and God bless love ya miss u all Sincerely your neighbor the Hunt Family ..

Doug, I sure am going to miss you and getting that phone call every year on my birthday!! ( you never missed a year!) This photo was when you taught me to plow in 1983, after I hoed your milk weeds by hand you thought I could drive the tractor.
Then selling me your 442, after I brought you cash for it, not really wanting too sell but you did. Many found memories. ❤️. Rest in peace Doug!! Will miss our chats. Xo

Doug always called me squirrely. Because I had a squirrel trapped in my trunk of my car for about 2 months before it finally came out

Uncle Doug was one of a kind. Under his gruff exterior was a kind soul with a big heart. He loved to talk but you needed time to listen for awhile lol I will miss his wild typed texts & sense of humor .He will be happy to be reunited with Cathy and our Grandparents. Our deepest sympathies to all his family. He will be missed. XO

Doug was one of the best neighbours we have ever had , under his gruff exterior was a kind soul. We are really going to miss him. Doug would always refer to me as “ the other wife” he really appreciated my meals and really, really appreciated my baking. Both Doug and Cathy were my testers of desserts when I was deciding what to make for my daughters wedding , they weren’t a lot of help though as they liked everything.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family .
