Obituary of John Wilfrid Lewis

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we write about the passing of John Wilfrid Lewis, of Dorchester, Ontario; John was born August 12th, 1942, and sadly passed away February 8th, 2023. Beloved son of Doris and Wilfrid Lewis. John is survived by his beloved wife Jannet, and his children, Angel, Anissa, and Justin; sisters Susan and Catherine, grandchildren Colton, Shayla and Amber, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. John was well known in Dorchester and was always helping neighbours and friends in his community. He loved watching a football or baseball game and going for a drive. He was thoughtful, loving, and enjoyed all the comforts of home. He will always be remembered as the life of the party, a kind person you could always count on, and a loving father and husband. A celebration of life will be held at the Bieman Funeral Home, 3970 Hamilton Road, Dorchester on Saturday, February 18 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM; an interment service will follow at the Dorchester Union Cemetery. All family and friends are welcome to gather, share memories, and say goodbye to John.
