Obituary of Al Guest

William Alan Guest (Big Al) in his 89th year, passed away at Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, January 13, 2022 with his family by his side. Survived by his loving wife Joycilyn (nee Sutor); and his devoted children Pamela (Donald) and Terry (Kimberley). Proud grandfather of Scott (Ashley), Keri (Dave), Jasmine (Matthew), Cameron (Lindsay) and Millar (Kiana). Survived by his dear sister Joy Kohler (late Jack Kohler) of Dunnville and now joins his loving parents Clarence and Jean. Al worked in the financial sector prior to retirement, and was transferred to many different locations around Southwestern Ontario, finally landing him and the family in London. Of note, he will also be remembered for his venture owning the iconic London bar Call the Office. He was an avid British car collector with a passion for mini coopers and mokes and loved attending car shows both in Canada and the U.S. He forged many friendships within the mini community. Al was a proud member of the Dunnville Legion. His magnetic personality endeared him to everyone he met. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Bieman Funeral Home, 3970 Hamilton Road, Dorchester (Thursday 11:00 a.m. - 12:45 p.m.) followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Due to COVID 19 protocols and due to capacity limits, if you wish to attend visitation or the memorial service, you are required to telephone the funeral home at (519)-268-7672 to register your name, telephone number, number in your party. Upon arrival at the funeral home, you must show proof of vaccination as well as government issued photo identification. Face masks/coverings are deemed mandatory.
