Obituary of Ruth Harmer

Peacefully with family at her side at Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll on Monday, July 5, 2021. Ruth (Polley) Harmer of Dorchester age 88. Wife of the late John Patrick (Pat) Harmer (1998). Dear mother of Jeanne Nielsen of Rodney, Jim of Windsor and Joel (wife Sue) of London. Predeceased by a son John (2013). Loving grandmother of Kathleen (Darren), Sean, Amanda (Jeff), Danielle (Travis), Christina, Joel Jr. (Stephanie), Alissa (Nick), John Jr. (Jamie) and Caroline and great grandmother of Emily, Ty, Reese, River, Fox, Liam, Clark, Christian, Colton and Sadie. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 9 brothers and sisters. Friends will be received at the Bieman Funeral Home, 3970 Hamilton Road, Dorchester (Friday 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.) A private family service will be held. Due to COVID 19 protocols as set forth by provincial and local health units and to control the numbers of people at any given point during visitation, you are required to telephone the funeral home at (519)-268-7672 to register your name and telephone number and desired time you wish to attend the visitation.
