Obituary of Gordon Barnby Gurmin

At Parkwood Institute Veteran's Care Centre, London on Friday, March 19, 2021. Gordon B. Gurmin of Dorchester in his 95th year. Husband of the late Shirley (Henson) Gurmin (2009). Dear father of Linda Cooke (John) and Sharon Powers (Steve) all of London, Gord Gurmin (Becky) of Dorchester and Brad Gurmin (Sheryl) of Edmonton. Loving grandfather of John Cooke, Sara Ferguson (Ian), Aaron Powers (Laurie), Scott Powers, Krista Morrison (Brent) Sean Gurmin (Deedee) and Emma Gurmin. Predeceased granddaughter Keara in infancy. Fondly remembered and loved by his many great grandchildren and great great granchildren. Predeceased by brother Jim Gurmin and sister Mabel Travis and predeceased by brothers in law Donald and Bill Henson and sisters in law Dorothy Reynolds and Betty McLeod. Friends will be received at the Bieman Funeral Home, 3970 Hamilton Road, Dorchester (Friday 2:00-6:00 p.m.) where a family service will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021. Interment service will be held as well on Saturday at 11:45 a.m. at the Dorchester Union Cemetery Due to COVID 19 protocols as set forth by Provincial and Local Health Units and to control the numbers of people at any given time during visitation and the graveside service, you are required to telephone the funeral home at (519)-268-7672 to register your name and telephone number and desired time you wish to attend the visitation AND/OR your intentions to attend the graveside service.
