Peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital, London on Tuesday, September 15, 2020. Paul Fredrick Alan Nicholson of Dorchester in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Sharon (nee Harris). Loving dad of Lesley Griffin (Matthew) and proud grandpa of Owen. Son of the late Hugh and Esther Nicholson. Brother of Larry McFadden (Diane) and Marg Hetherington (Bill). Predeceased by sisters Shirley Barnes (Jack), Ruth Authier and Rose Degraw and by brother Stanley McFadden (Annette). Survived by brothers in law Cliff Authier, Don Degraw, Leslie Harris and Randy Harris (Sarah), sister in law Betty Herbert (the late Harry) and by step sisters Marilyn Glover and Madeline Debuque. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Fred's life will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #513, 1227 Donnybrook Drive, Dorchester between the hours of 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Words of remembrance will be said at 2:00 p.m. Due to COVID 19 protocols as set forth by Provincial and Local Health Boards and to control the numbers of people at any given point during this event, you are required to telephone (519)-268-7672 to register your name, telephone number and desired time you wish to attend. Face coverings/masks are deemed mandatory for attendance.
