Aunt Bea was the last of our parents generation.
Whether it was at Idylwild (the farm) or Dorchester or the cottages near Kettle Point or at Ralph's Trailer Park in Florida, more often than not you could find Aunt Bea, Uncle Roy, Uncle Lester, Aunt Bernice, my mom "Milly" and my dad "Les" somewhere together.
I especially miss those early years when I was a kid and we would visit Aunt Bea's home in Dorchester. It was then that we could be sure to see Judy, Gary and Terry.
Thanks for the memories Aunt Bea! I will miss you. Let us hope that the six amigos are together again enjoying a rousing game of cards up in Heaven.

Beatrice Violet McDonald, my aunt, was the 5th of seven children of James Alexander Henderson and Mildred Myrtle Leppard. Born in 1927 in Elma Township, Perth County on the family farm. She was the last of her immediate siblings -- and lived the longest life.
As I recall, Aunt Bea wasn't fond being photographed -- and she didn't care for her middle name. The photo attached is of Bea (left), my father John Lester in the middle and sister Mildred (right). These three were close as siblings go. Each had a cottage/residence near Forest. Each had a trailer in Ralph's Trailer Park in Zephyrhills, Florida.
May she rest in peace.
