Obituary of Mary Ellen Phillips

Peacefully at Marian Villa Hospital, London on Tuesday, December 24, 2019. Mary Ellen Phillips (Esler)in her 90th year. Predeceased by her husband Bob Phillips (2002). Mary lived in Aylmer, Dorchester and for over 70 years on the 2nd Concession of Westminster Township. Mary was born May 27, 1930, daughter of Bill and Minnie (Blaney) Esler. Sister of Harry, Billy, Davie, Betty and Sarah who all predeceased her. She was the loving and dedicated mother of Alan and Wendy Phillips, Linda and Dan Tiede, Barry and Gloria Phillips and Robert and Shari Phillips. She will be missed by 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Mary is also survived by her brother in law Don Cousins. She will be missed by her many cousins, friends and neighbours. Mary was a Ladies' Auxillary member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #513, Dorchester for almost 45 years. Thank you mom for all our great memories. Friends will be received at the Bieman Funeral Home, 3970 Hamilton Road, Dorchester on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 - 2 hours prior to service - 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Interment Dorchester Union Cemetery.
