William Stewart (Bill) Wood of Dorchester in his 87th year.

Beloved husband of Barbara.

Dear father of Ina Doyle (husband Al) and Dan (wife Joni) all of London, Stewart (wife Diane) of Dorchester and Karen Reeves (husband Stuart) of Calgary and step father of Kevin Bice of Murrysville, Pennsylvania.

Loving grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 6 great granchildren.

Step father in law of Kandace Bice of Ailsa Craig.

Brother of John Wood of London.

Also survived by 2 nieces and 2 nephews.

Predeceased by step son Kirk Bice (July 26, 2019) and sister in law Fran Wood.

Bill was a long time employee for the roads department at North Dorchester Township and also served for 25 years with the North Dorchester Volunteer Fire Department.

Cremation has taken place.

A Celebration of Bill's life will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2019 between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #513, 1227 Donnybrook Drive, Dorchester.

Memorial contributions to the London Regional Cancer Program, c/o  London Health Sciences Foundation, 747 Base Line Road E., London, ON  N6C 2R6 would be appreciated.
