Sandy and I were young friends together in the Culver neighbourhood back in the day. We were always together hanging out, babysitting, roller skating at Wheels and having fun with friends. I remember walking home together from Wheels and having to jump down from the tracks when a train would come and the feeling as we lay on the hill as it rumbled past. She was fun to be with, funny, kind and a generous friend. We lost touch as we grew older but stayed in touch sometimes by text as adults. Condolences to Jeff and all of your family.

You could never forget Sandy, she was extraordinary, beautiful inside and out, and brought smiles and laughter were ever she was or went. There is not one bad thing you could ever say about this woman! She was love pure and simple. She was one of my best friends! I was 3yrs older then Sandy , we grew up on Culver Drive together, as adults we both had condos at 1600 Culver Drive. I grew up loving her parents and brother-Tom ,Jane and Tommy. I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m so sorry I wasn’t there I didn’t hear about it till yesterday day! And the tears have hardly stopped. My partner of 20yrs said I was crying in my sleep. I loved Sandy so much. You can’t meet someone like her and not love her.
Both Sandy and I wholeheartedly believed it was Pottersburg Creek that gave us are cancers! It wasn’t just one type of cancer either we only had to fight! I was in hospital when she passed, but I would have been there had I known. But I have so many memories, it was Darlene and myself who took Sandy out the night before she married Jeff. I knew Nikki, Tyler and Devin as kids. One year Nikki came to grandbend with Cody and my spouse. It was a cottage we had rented but bigger than most houses. Nikki and Cody enjoyed the jacuzzi after a day at the beach. Especially when we put bubbles in the water and lost them! LoL! We took many fun pictures. Unfortunately I watched her other boys grow up through pictures, and all six of you are all gorgeous. Your Mom was so full of life you’d never know she was sick. So lively it’s hard to picture her gone! I feel for all of you because I no her loss is going to leave a hole in my ♥️ I can only imagine how you must all feel! I will be seeing her soon as my days are coming to an end there’s nothing more they can do but I do believe in miracles and if I don’t get one I can look forward to seeing again one of my best friends I could ever wish for and so blessed to have known! Sickness kept us apart these last 15yrs, we talked, made plans and being so sick broke them too. I’m going to try and upload a picture or two, forgive me if it does not work , I’m not the most phone savvy.
God bless all of you, I’m so so sorry for your loss and your pain! She is one of a kind and you were extremely lucky if you ever had the pleasure of knowing her or just meeting her ! She is unforgettable! So NO I won’t ever stop thinking of ever I never have and I know I will see her soon!
Love forever and always,
Debbie Moore
I tried to add pictures but I don’t know how to work this iPhone that my other son Julian bought me! But I can text them that I know how to do
