VETLAND (Lewis), Kathleen Joy August 20, 1960 – June 7, 2026 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kathleen Joy Vetland (Lewis) on June 7, 2026, at the age of 65. Kathleen passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side. Born in Orillia, Ontario, Kathleen was a woman of deep faith, unwavering kindness, and remarkable strength. Despite life’s many challenges, she never allowed hardship to diminish her compassionate heart. She was always willing to help others and will be remembered for her generosity, love of God, and her passion for plants and flowers. Kathleen leaves behind her beloved partner, Matt; her loving children, Christopher, Corey, and Amanda; and her cherished grandson, Noah. She will also be deeply missed by her brothers Bob, David, and Ken; sister Kim; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and lifelong friends. Kathleen’s legacy of faith, love, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, with details to be announced.
