Husband of the late Jo Ann (Dale) Johnston (2015).
Dear father of Dale (wife Robin) of Jacksonville, Florida and Brad (wife Patricia) of Naramata, British Columbia.
Loving grandfather of Carter Johnston (fiancee Nayya).
Predeceased by sisters Margaret Kelly (the late Ken), Ruby Ferguson (the late Stanley) and brother Cecil Johnston (the late Marilyn).
Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews from the Johnston and Dale families.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held at the Bieman Funeral Home, 3970 Hamilton Road, Dorchester on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to service (1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.)
