Obituary of Catherine Reimer

Catherine Rosella Reimer (née Harding) August 16, 1968 — October 18, 2025 It is with a heavy heart that we announce Cathy’s passing on October 18, 2025, in London, Ontario, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on August 16, 1968, in Oakville, Ontario, Cathy's radiant spirit left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Cathy's life was one marked by love, laughter, and unwavering courage. She was the cherished wife of Eric and the devoted mother of Rebecca and Adam. She is also survived by her son-in-law James, her parents, Michael and Erminia, her sisters, Mary Lynn, Anne, and their respective spouses, Nick and Craig, as well as her sister-in-law Irmi, brother-in-law Al, and his wife Kelly. They will remember her warmth and loving nature. Cathy's nieces and nephews will miss their aunt's infectious laughter and enthusiasm for life. Cathy was preceded in death by her brother-in-law Keith, her father-in-law Rudolf, and mother-in-law Herta. Cathy loved spending time with her friends, of which she had many, and her family, including her dogs Murphy and Hudson. She loved being active outdoors, and enjoyed biking, kayaking, dragon boating, and camping. Her adventurous spirit was matched only by her sense of humour and the courage with which she faced every challenge. Cathy's education began at Sheridan College where she studied legal administration before her pursuit of dental assisting at Fanshawe College. Her career was diverse; she was a claims adjuster at Canada Life, a dental administrator with LHSC, a dental teaching assistant at Fanshawe College, and a legal secretary at Torys LLP. A celebration of Cathy’s life will be announced in the future. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada in Cathy’s honour.
