Obituary of Wayne David Draper

Peacefully at LHSC - Victoria Hospital Campus on Friday, August 29, 2025 in his 78th year, Wayne David Draper of Belmont Ontario. He is survived and dearly missed by his wife of 51 years - Donna; their three sons - David (Heather), Rob (Bonnie), Dan and two grandsons, Gage and Jackson. Lovingly remembered by Sharon (Jim) Harrington, Dianne Waun, Wayne (Lynn) Peck, Cheryl (Scott) Litt, Brian (Mary) Peck, Kathy (Rob) Youngblut and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Wayne was predeceased by his parents, Dave and Mickey (Smeaton) Draper and Donna’s parents, Bob and Elva (Snell) Peck. He was a proud member of the Belmont Masonic Lodge and was a keen Ham radio operator. He loved scootering around his beloved Belmont, enjoyed meeting people and was well-loved by all who knew him. He also enjoyed supervising the boys as they worked on projects in his shop, watching NASCAR on a Sunday afternoon, going for rides in his new SUV and watching the boys play MAGIC every Friday night around the kitchen table. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service/celebration of Wayne’s life will take place on Saturday, October 4, 2025- 11:00 AM at Belmont United Church, 245 College Street in Belmont. Reverend Janet Anstead officiating. Please dress "Casually."
