Suddenly at her residence on June 11, 2025, Betty Eileen Vivian Weir (Cumby) of Woodstock in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Jim (2017). Dear mother of Tara Weir and Damien Weir (wife Laura). Loving grandma to Benjamin, James, and Olivia. Fondly remembered by her siblings, Mildred Cumby West (Homer, GA), Barbara Cumby Drover (Whitbourne, NL), Garry Cumby (London, ON), Lorraine Cumby Parr (London, ON), Raymond Cumby (Dartmouth, NS) and Brendan Cumby (Comox, BC). Predeceased by her parents Doris and Hubert Cumby (Green’s Harbour, NL) and siblings, Leonard Cumby (Maynard, TN), Sylvia Cumby Dickey (London, ON) and Bernie Cumby (Paris, ON). Betty was a retired Nurse’s Assistant. Friends and family are invited on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 11:00 am at Dorchester Union Cemetery, 2251 Dorchester Road, Dorchester for a graveside service.
