Growing up in Gladstone and having Eva babysit my brother and I for years. I will never forget Harold coming home from work and sitting in his chair, smoking his cigars. And being the only girl with the 3 boys, he always made sure the boys weren't to rough with me. My condolences to you Eva, Roy and family

I have only had the honour of visiting with Harold a few times but of those times I found Harold to be a fun spirited man. Sending love to all the family.

During my father's hospital stay, I had the pleasure of forming a close friendship with you and your wife. Our connection deepened when I visited you at the nursing home, and after my father's passing, you both offered me immense support, becoming akin to family. Your absence will be profoundly felt. RIP Harold.

Q: How did you meet Harold?
A: As a resident of Gladstone and a friend of Roy. I would over at the house visiting. Harold and Eva were always inviting and friendly. Harold treated us kids with great conversations as Roy and I were hanging out. I always respected the man and great neighbour. I will never forget him and those conversations. Condolences to Eva, Roy and the entire family.
