Obituary of Gary Robert Zagorodny

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Gary Zagorodny of Dorchester on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025, at the age of 82 years. Gary leaves behind Max, his loving wife of 27 years. Survived by his sons Bill, Tom, Tim & Gary Jr; daughters Cindy, Tina and Tammy; brother Peter; nephew Peter; stepchildren Cory, Dean and Jacqui (Ryan); numerous grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends. Gary is predeceased by his parents Peter Sr. and Margaret. Gary’s last days were spent surrounded by family, and he was so happy to have been there for his cherished granddaughter Raven’s 8th birthday earlier this month. Much of Gary’s life was spent on the road, driving many miles in his career as a truck driver, and even more to find the next speedway to have some fun.
