Obituary of Mildred Laureen Paton

On February 11th 2025, Mildred L. Paton (Cook) passed away at Sakura House in her 91st year.
Predeceased by her husband James (1998), dear daughter Eleanore (Ball) (2000), and special friend Grant Langford (2007).
Beloved mother of Janet (Doug) McQueen, Lillian Paton (Judy), Richard Paton (Tara) and Jim Paton (Lindsay). Dear grandmother to Jennifer (Michael) Levitan, Sharon (Devon) Kilbourn, Kayla Paton (Chase), Mackenzie Paton (Ben), Hailey Paton and Abby Paton.
Dearly missed by her step grandchildren Josh Neuman, Ashley Edwards, Shay Macleod and her great granddaughters Anna and Emma Kilbourn.
Survived by her sister Muriel Bosman of Sault Ste. Marie, ON.
Mildred was born and raised in Belgrave, ON and spent her life as a farm wife in Middlesex County. She lived up to her maiden name as she enjoyed cooking. Mildred's favourite passion was baking for family and friends which she was adamant about and able to do so until the age of 88. Mildred will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at the Harrietsville-Mossley United Church - 5391 Elgin Rd, Harrietsville, ON N0L 1V0 on Saturday March 1st 2025 at 11AM. A private family inurnment will take place.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Harrietsville-Mossley United Church (5391 Elgin Rd, Harrietsville, ON N0L 1V0) or Sakura House Hospice (715180 Oxford Rd 4, Woodstock, ON N4S 7V9) would be greatly appreciated.
