I will always cherish the Mother’s Day brunches Millie and I got to share together with our respective children, Jim and Lindsay. While our meetings weren’t frequent, they were meaningful. Blessings and strength to all who miss her.

I remember Millie as a very pleasant , friendly and inclusive person. She enjoyed music nights at my Braemar House when we had a few jam sessions with some members of the Brownsville Corn Huskers and other musical folks. She will be missed by so many especially her family . Treasure the memories as they are so special.

On behalf of Norma Shackelton and family, we extend to the Paton family our sincerest condolences in the passing of such a loving and vibrant lady. Millie was one of the ladies in the community who was always willing to help in the community and at the church. Our family shared so many good times together. Our fathers would talk farming and our mothers would share the love of raising children, cooking and helping in the community. Good memories will carry on with us all. Lovingly Penny on behalf of the family
