Obituary of Brian Pointon

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brian Pointon, affectionately known as "Poppy," a beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend. Predeceased by his loving wife, Allison Pointon and his brother Richard Pointon. Brian leaves behind his cherished siblings, children and grandchildren. He is survived by his brother David Pointon, daughter, Kelly Martin (Kevin Martin), and his son, Greg Pointon (Jackie Pointon). His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Darby Martin (Lance Freer), Jessica Martin (Olivia Toth), Pacey Pointon (Alex Polishuk), and Braidyn Pointon (Aidan Highton). Brian was well known for his many years working in the fire protection industry. He was a man who touched the lives of many with his unique stories, attention to detail and the desire to help others. His love for his family was unwavering, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. A celebration of Brian’s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #513 - Dorchester, 1227 Donnybrook Drive, Dorchester on Sunday March 9,2025 from 2pm-5pm.
