It is with a broken heart that I share the passing of my dear husband of 40 years, Paul William Colbourne. Paul was born in New Brunswick and moved to Ontario with his family, leaving a small piece of his heart there. He lived in Mississauga until retiring to Muskoka for 15 years before moving to Mount Elgin last year. Paul was a kindhearted soul that would do anything for anyone. Quick with a smile or a laugh and liked to tell stories - some repeatedly and often had a funny saying or two to pass along. He had a great love for the outdoors, hunting and fishing and riding his ATV or just watching wildlife from the window of the house. If you see a deer in the field on your travels or a cottontail rabbit in your yard, smile and think of Paul. Beloved husband of Betty (nee White). Forever loved by his daughter Kim (Jim) and daughter-in-law Melanie. Paul is predeceased by his son Philip. Loving grandfather of Kaitlyn, Jeff (Kate), Jessie, Mackenzie and Victoria and loving great grandfather of his great grandchildren. Predeceased by his brother Wayne (the late Joyce) and always remembered by his brother Gordon, sister Cheryl, sisters and brothers-in-law and by his nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Bieman Funeral Home, 3970 Hamilton Road, Dorchester on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 1 hour prior to the funeral service (10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.) where the funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Interment Dorchester Union Cemetery.
