I’ve known Yvontje ever since she was courted by , and married Lieven, who we sponsored to come to Canada. The relationship between her family was always warm, generous and welcoming. My mom, also named Yvonne, was an especial good friend of hers. It is a sad time to say goodbye, especially for her boys and their families. I will remember her always with great love and kindness.
