Jack was a dear friend of our father George Wright. As children, we first met Jack, Beth and their children John and Ellen through their friendship with our father George and mother Myrtle. We remember the summer they joined us on our yearly camping trip. Jack was always there to lend us a helping hand whenever needed - no matter what was asked of him. After our father died, Jack was one of the first people to contact us to offer his help - we only needed to call. A true gentleman. He will be greatly missed by all the people who came to know him over the years. Keith, Lois (Hawkes), Howard, Ruth Wright

My heart and soul go out to the Killins family and Dorchester . John was an amazing man and a pillar of the Dorchester community . John had a heart of gold ! I have found childhood memories of growing up on Gore rd and all the love and fun we all had . John saved my life once . I had the croup very badly and my dad tried to drive me to the hospital and watch me at the same time he pulled into Johns driveway and he came running out and drove us the rest of the way to the hospital. His love for life and children and happiness were so pure ! May he Rest In Peace . My him and my father look down upon us always xox

Q: What will you never forget about John (Jack)? A: He was the pioneer of dust control on Gore Road. Not sure you could spread used oil today but it sure worked then!
